5 Reasons to Attend Workflow Conference 2026

On March 5, 2026, we’re hosting Sigma’s first-ever user conference, Workflow, at Convene in San Francisco. It’s a one-day, in-person event focused on how teams are building, scaling, and operationalizing AI apps in Sigma.

The way teams build with data has fundamentally changed. Analytics used to tell us what happened—but acting on those insights meant jumping into other tools. Today, Sigma’s AI apps and live cloud analytics let teams take action directly on their data, automating decisions and moving work forward in one place.

This shift in how we work with data demands new skills, shared knowledge, and a stronger community. That’s why we created the Workflow conference.

If you’re an app builder, analytics engineer, operations leader, or data leader, here’s what you can expect at Workflow 2026:

1. Learn directly from the people building Sigma

Workflow is your opportunity to learn straight from the product leaders designing, shipping, and innovating Sigma every day. You’ll get personal insight into our features and where the platform is headed. You’ll also have the space to share feedback that helps shape what Sigma is building.

2. Build an AI app that fits into your daily workflow

At Workflow, you’ll get hands-on training to build an AI app in Sigma, plus take-home resources to continue learning after the event.

For builder sessions, you can opt into whichever level of training works for you: beginner, immediate, or advanced.  Start with foundational sessions like Introduction to Input Tables or move into building advanced applications like a Profit & Loss app or Customer Call Analysis app. You’ll learn how to collect inputs, automate steps like approvals and follow-ups, and use AI on live data, so your work keeps flowing without manual steps or switching between tools. Sessions are designed for all skill levels, so you can choose the workflows and techniques most relevant to your work.

See here for the full list of sessions we’re offering.

3. Watch advanced builders go head-to-head

Three of the most experienced Sigma builders will compete live to build the best app hosted by our very own Product Evangelist, Katrina Menne. You’ll see advanced techniques, creative approaches, and real problem-solving in action. (Plus, pick up ideas you can apply immediately in your own workflow.)

4. Learn from real customer use cases

See how leading enterprises are moving work out of spreadsheets and manual handoffs into a single, governed system. For example, learn how:

  • DraftKings combined analytics and AI for sports book management.
  • Magnit Global turned finance reporting into interactive workflows.
  • Upland Capital Group centralized insurance workflows all within Sigma.
  • Strategus built a personalized embedded analytics portal for 1,700+ clients, bringing campaign transparency, in-app feedback, and ROI into Sigma.

These are just a few examples, with more customer sessions to be announced.

5. Connect with fellow builders

Workflow is designed for AI App and analytics builders, analytics engineers, operations teams, and data leaders. You’ll meet like-minded people who are solving similar problems, and leave inspired with new ideas for what to build next. This is the first time the Sigma builder community will be coming together, and you’ll be able to tap into this network long after the event ends.

Build What Comes Next

Workflow is a full day dedicated to building AI-powered workflows in Sigma—learning directly from product experts, seeing how current users are leveraging Sigma in production, and leaving with skills you can apply to your workflow immediately.
