This Supplemental Notice for Australian Candidates (“Australia Notice”) applies to Candidates that reside in Australia. This Australia Notice supplements the information contained in the Candidate Privacy Notice.
In addition to the sources of Personal Data stated in Section 3 of this Candidate Privacy Notice, we may collect your Personal Data from our Australian recruiting partners. Please note that such recruiting partners process your Personal Data and transfer it to Sigma in accordance with their privacy policies. We process, use and disclose your Personal Data in accordance with our Candidate Privacy Notice, as supplemented by this Australia Notice, and as otherwise authorized or required by applicable laws. In circumstances where consent may be required by applicable law, we will seek your consent. We will retain your Personal Data for the period required as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
As required to fulfill and facilitate the purposes stated in Section 4 of our Candidate Privacy Notice (including our recruitment and hiring activities), we, our Affiliates, and our Service Providers, may access, store and otherwise process your Personal Data outside of Australia, including in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. We will ensure that such international transfers of your Personal Data are performed only (i) after taking reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient does not breach applicable laws (including the Australian Privacy Principles) and protects your Personal Data in a manner that is equivalent or substantially similar to this Candidate Privacy Notice, or (ii) after obtaining your consent; or (iii) to the extent otherwise permitted by applicable laws. When you submit a job application to us, you are consenting to any such transfers, provided that they are otherwise in accordance with this Candidate Privacy Notice.
